Highlights of the case

The case is on National Electricals Ltd. Which is a large public manufacturing enterprise. The case is about the rumor spread in the organization that S..Swaminathan was found wrongly involved in financial irregularities. N.Gopal was the only who supported Swaminathan with his ethics.

The key characters in this case

S.Swaminathan- He was the regional director of the company at Belanagar Unit. He was the person who was found guilty in the involvement in financial irregularities with huge amount of funds. He was the heart of the case study.

N.Gopal- He was the Chief Auditor of the Belanagar unit. He was the person with self dignity and values that made him the soul of the case study. He was the only person supported Swaminathan.
T.Prasad- He was the deputy regional director. He was the person who wanted Gopal to comment adversely in Swaminathan case. He was behind lost promotion of Gopal yet another year.

N.Ramakumar- He was colleague of Gopal, who aggravated Gopal against S.swaminathan.

Core Values of N.Gopal

Gopal was the person with self Dignity.

He was a responsible person. He was honestly stubborn person. He was genuinely hard worker.

S.Swaminathan after being exonerated by N.Gopal

Swaminathan after being stated innocent would obviously feel relieved but as he has been exonerated by N.Gopal so he will feel guilty and shamed feeling for himself. As because of his doings for Gopal in past was like exploitation that led Gopal to miss his well deserved promotion. May this happening make Swaminathan a valuable man for the rest of his life.

Conclusion

As conclusion we would like to say that in this case, ethics and values of N.Gopal won and he taught us the value of life and how a person can be well responsible to work on his principles of life with the values and feeling of dignity. What ever happened at last was fair enough to make Gopal happy and to feel proud.
