POWERPOINT ACTIVITY Using Hyperlink DATE: ________ Prepared: ____________ We will start creating an interactive activity using Hyperlink in powerpoint. first open the powerpoint application in your computer. open the browser and choose your preferred background. right-click your preferred picture and click “copy image”
go back to your powerpoint
presentation and press (CTRL + V) to paste the picture type the instruction of your activity. insert the pictures of different choices. you can also get pictures from your browser. you can add animation effect on each picture. left-click the picture where you want to put the animation effect prepare the slides that will show “correct” and “wrong” answer. you can add pictures like “thumbs up & thumbs down” or “check & x-mark” After the activity is ready, we can now use the HYPERLINK effect in powerpoint. Let’s start with the correct answers. right click one correct image and click “link” or “hyperlink” choose “Place in this Document” you will se the number of slides of your powerpoint activity here choose the slide that shows the “correct answer”
in this slide, it is slide number 3
do the same process with all the correct pictures in the activity after that, you can now Link the “wrong” pictures in the activity to slide number 4 do the same process with all the “wrong” pictures in the activity after all pictures in the activity are linked, we will also link the background picture of slides number 3 and 4 to slide number 2. it is needed so that the student will be able to go back to the choices after answering or after clicking one picture. right-click anywhere on the background photo and use link or hyperlink. do the same process with slide number 4 right-click anywhere on the background photo and use link or hyperlink. after assigning all the links you can now try the activity to check if all the links are correct.
