What are clouds
• Clouds are made up of tiny water droplets or ice
crystals, usually a mixture of both.
• The water and ice scatter all light, making clouds
appear white.
Importance of clouds
• It providing rain and snow.
• They also help retain heat, like a blanket so it doesn't escape quickly
into space.
• During the day they help protect us from the sun's intense heat.
• At night they act as a blanket to keep us from getting too cold.
• They also provide precipitation and signal weather changes and
patterns.
What cloud contains
• The cloud that you see is a mixture of solids and liquids.
• water droplets or ice crystals
• Snow flakes are made from a collection of many crystels
• Rain is just water in liquid form
Types of clouds
• Cumulus clouds
• Stratus clouds
• Cirrus clouds
Cumulus clouds
• Cumulus clouds are white, puffy clouds that look like pieces of floating
cotton.
• The base of each cloud is flat and the top of each cloud has rounded
towers.
• A cumulus cloud can turn into the rain cloud formation
• hold millions of tons of rainwater.
• Mostly, cumulus indicates fair weather, often popping up on bright sunny
days. 
Stratus clouds
• Stratus clouds are flat clouds that form in low altitudes.
• Fog is a form of stratus cloud that is close to the Earth's surface.
• Often, these types of clouds signal gray, drizzly days with not much
sunshine.
• Weather associated with nimbostratus clouds might be rain or snow.
Cirrus clouds
• Cirrus clouds are high, thin, white clouds that are made of ice crystals.
• the fastest moving of all clouds.
• A cirrus cloud does create precipitation.
• Cirrus clouds are wispy, feathery, and composed entirely of ice
crystals.
