Mission and Vision Statement : Our mission is to empower communities in
South Africa through education, sports and community development. Our
vision is to create a society where everyone has equal opportunities to
reach their full potential.

Background:The Community Empowerment Foundation(Or another NGO

Name) was established in 2023 with the goal of improving the lives of
disadvantaged South Africans. Our focus is on providing community
development, rehabilitation offerings for facilities and institutions, learning
basic human rights and sports development programs to communities in
need. Our programs are designed to empower individuals and communities
with the skills and resources they need to improve their lives and support
their families.

Structure

• The governing structure of (NPO Name) operates in the following

manner:
• The organization will be led by a board of directors
• An Executive Director will be responsible for the day-to-day operations
• Experienced staff and volunteers will be responsible for implementing
programs and services, with the support of local community leaders.

Ongoing

Projects can be separated into ones that are either short, medium or
long term. The classification of each project can be shown as follows:

• Short term: for example, supplying things such as stationary,

textbooks, calculators, school shoes, uniform and sanitary pads to
disadvantaged school children. The focus should be on Schools or
institutions that have little to no resources.
• Medium term projects can include things such as aiding schools or
institutions that that need repairs to existing infrastructure (windows,
roofs etc etc).
• Long term programs would be to try and recruit individuals where they
can be taught and mentored in different aspects such as law, IT,
Sports, environmental education (here I'm trying to find something
which can cater each of our expertise and skill sets)

marketing methods to reach potential participants, volunteers and
donors.
Modes of marketing which the NPO can use can include local media
(radio and newspapers), community events and social media outreach
programs

• Reference depending on the Project

The budget which the NPO will have to be supported by a combination

of grants, donations and revenue generated from possible fund-raising
events. Key expenses associated with the NPO would be staffing costs,
program materials, supplies and operational costs for each project

The NPO will regularly evaluate its projects and services to measure the
impact on the communities which are being served.
This would include collecting feedback from participants, analyzing data
on program attendance and engagement. Monitoring changes in
communities will also be vital in order to prepare.
