Motor vehicle act 1988

introduction
 The subject of motor vehicle is dealt by the central govt.
 The govt. of india has specific ministry concerned with the motor vehicle
laws in india.
It includes
 The Carriage by Road Act, 2007

 The Motor Vehicles Act, 1988

 The National Highways Act, 1956

 The National Highways Authority of India Act, 1988

 The Control of National Highways (Land and Traffic) Act, 2002.


Basic things
 The person driving a vehicle should be above 18 year old and he/she
is havinge their driving licence with them
 50 cc engine for learning licence holder
Carriage
 A carriage is a contrivance which is used for carrying or transporting,
especially along or over a solid surface.
 Carriage includes any carriage, wagon, cart truck, vehicle or other
means of conveying goods, or passengers by land.

 In this case and old man is crossing the road with his scooty in front of
the truck and the road he felt down from his vehicle in front of the
truck
 Then The old man was taken to the hospital and the truck was taken to
police station
 After going to hospital the old man got deceased by heart attack
 The police filed the chargesheet against simanchal sections 304 a of
ipc and the judgement was not in the favour so the plaintif
( simanchal jain) filed a RIT of CRPC 482
( TO REMOVE THE CHARGES AGAINST HIM )
Certificate of Fitness Section 56
This provision has been added with a view to prevent or reduce
pollution and due to environmental concerns.
