Data Plan Analysis Statistics?
- is a roadmap for how you’re
going to organize and analyze
your survey data.
What is DESCRIPTIVE STATISTICS
 -A Descriptive Statisticis a summary
statistic that quantitatively describes or
summarizes features from a collection of
information, while descriptive statistics is
the process of using and analysing those
statistics.
EXAMPLE:
In a math test, 32 out of 40 students were able to
receive a passing mark. The average score of the class
is 82 out of 100.

What is the purpose of DESCRIPTIVE STATISTICS ?

 DESCRIPTIVE STATISTICS can be useful for two

purposes:
1. To provide basic information about variables in a
data set.
2. To highlight potential relationships between
variables.
What is INFERENTIAL STATISTICS?

 Statistical Inference is the process of using data

analysis to infer properties of an underlying
distribution of probability.
 Inferential Statistical Analysis infers properties of a
population, for example by testing hypothesis and
deriving estimates
EXAMPLE:
In a sample survey conducted 65% of Filipino Generation
Z prefer to drink milk tea than coffee while only 34% of
Filipino Millennials prefer to drink milk tea than coffee.
