ABSTRACT
Background/Objectives: Drowsiness of driver is the main cause of accidents in the world
as well as in Pakistan. The aim is to create a framework to keep the vehicle safe and secure
through critical activity. Findings: Feeling sleepy while driving could cause hazardous
traffic accident. However, when driving alone on highway or driving over a long period of
time, drivers are inclined to feel bored and sleepy, or even fall asleep. Nowadays most of
the products of driver anti-sleep detection sold in the market are simply earphone making
intermittent noises, which is quite annoying and inefficient. Application/Improvement:
As such, there is a high demand for cheap and efficient driver sleep detection. Therefore,
we came up with an idea and successfully developed a sleepy detection and alarming
system, which could effectively meet this demand.

AIMS
The aim of using an eye blink sensor in accident control is to enhance safety on the roads and
reduce the number of accidents caused by driver fatigue or drowsiness. The goal is to detect
the driver's level of fatigue or drowsiness by monitoring their eye blink rate and alert them to
take a break or rest before continuing to drive.

WORKING PRINCIPLE
If the drivers eyes are closed cumulatively more than a standard value, the
system draws the conclusion that the driver is falling asleep, and then it will
activate an alarm sound to alert the driver.
This system alerts the user if he/she falls asleep at the wheel thereby, avoiding
accidents and saving lives. This system is useful especially for people who travel
long distances and people who are driving late at night
