Material
 Transparent rectangular
box (eg 14cm x 7 cm)
 Acrylic or hard cardboard
strip with the same width as
the transparent box (eg.
7cm x15cm)
 Cardboard strip
 Spatula
 Sand
 Flour
 Coffee or coffee grains
Procedure
1. Collect the material.
2. Put the acrylic or cardboard strip next to one of
the sides of the transparent box (inside,
vertically).
3. Place a layer of coffee (about 1cm), at the
bottom of the transparent box.
4. Press it down with the cardboard strip.
5. On top of this, make a layer of flour (about
1cm).
6. Press it down with the cardboard strip.
7. On top of the flour, make a layer of sand (about
1cm)
8. Press it down with the cardboard strip.
9. Slowly and carefully, push the acrylic or
cardboard bar to the side, until approximately ½
