Cara kerja Differential

Saat kendaraan bergerak lurus, differential


akan membuat roda kiri dan kanan
mempunyai kecepatan sama, tapi pada saat
unit belok maka roda pada sisi luar atau
dimana hambatan jalan kecil akan berputar
lebih cepat.

BERDASARKAN CARA KERJA

A. Differential Spin
 Saat kendaraan bergerak lurus, differential akan membuat roda kiri
dan kanan mempunyai kecepatan sama, tapi pada saat unit belok
atau jalan rusak maka roda pada sisi luar atau dimana hambatan
jalan kecil akan berputar lebih cepat.

B. Differential Non Spin


 Saat berjalan lurus maju, atau mundur posisi Drive Clutch
assembly akan mengunci Spider assembly.Berarti roda berputar
sama, dan jika salah satu kehilangan traction (melintas jalan
lembek/licin), yang masih memiliki traction terus mendorong truck
sampai timbul kembali traction pada kedua roda kiri, dan kanan.

B. Differential Non Spin

Kelebihan RR Non spin Differential


1. Saat berjalan lurus maju, atau mundur posisi Drive Clutch
assembly akan mengunci Spider assembly.Berarti roda berputar
sama, dan jika salah satu kehilangan traction (melintas jalan
lembek/licin), yang masih memiliki traction terus mendorong truck
sampai timbul kembali traction pada kedua roda kiri, dan kanan.

2. Mengkondisikan Rear rear axle fully locked, dan unlock secara


otomatis apabila putaran kecepatan roda kiri dan kanan tidak sama

3. Tidak akan terjadi spin secara individual pada Rear rear differential

B. Differential Non Spin

Kelemahan RR Non spin Differential

1. Saat trucks berbelok, disengaged Driven Clutch assembly


akan menimbulkan suara.Begitupun saat kembali engaged
suara Driven Clutch assembly menjadi lebih jelas terdengar.
(suara tersebut disebut Metallic sound, dan hal tersebut
adalah characteristic normal, yang disebabkan backlash
pada design Non Spin Differential)
