A personal blog is about the person who runs the blog. A personal blog is very
different from the other types of blogs because it contains opinions and beliefs
of the blogger.
2. Business Blog
A business blog contains content focused on an area of specialty to attract the
attention of potential clients.
3. Affiliate Blogs
An affiliate blog is a blog that posts content promoting other products and
services. The blog owner typically writes product reviews or tutorials and
includes a link for the reader to buy the product or service.
4. Niche Blog
Niche bloggers focus their content on a very specific subset of a larger topic.
They solve a particular problem and have a specific audience.
5. News Blog
A news blog is the most intense type of blog to create. News blogs are more
formal than other types of blogs
Conventions of a blog:

1. Direct address to the audience(s), including


other bloggers or those who have posted
responses.
2. Self-referential nature (‘In my last blog…’) and
use of personal pronouns (I, me).
3. Individual blogs often use self-contained text. In
other words, they may function as a short essay
upon a theme, much like newspaper articles.
4. A blog must always be dynamic.
5. The inclusion of visuals and use of other media,
which may affect language choice.
6. Use headings.

O Pronouns is the way by the author can communicate with reader or share thoughts. In my
M text I use pronouns “I”, “my”, “you” in sentences, such as “When I found your blog my point of
