INTRODUCTION

• Chronic renal failure is gradual ,progressive and


irreversible deterioration of kidney tissue.
• Results from
 chronic intrinsic renal disease,
 progressive bilateral nephropathy ,
 non renal disease like obstructive renal nephropathies
• Marked loss of flexibility of renal homeostatic
function.
CAUSES OF CHRONIC RENAL FAILURE

• Ischeamia
• Increase intrapelvic pressure
• Infection with microorganism
• Deposition of complement binding antigen-antibody
complexes
• Diffuse ,bilateral pregressive form of
glomerulonephritis
