questionnaire survey.

⮚ The population were the people living within Kathmandu valley who engage in
some types of business as a means of livelihood.
⮚ The sample consists of few male entrepreneurs & more female entrepreneurs.

❑ More than half of the women entrepreneurs are unaware about various government schemes.
Action Implication
Women entrepreneurs account for improved economic growth and stability within a country. Women
entrepreneurs inspire other women to start businesses. This leads to more job creation for women
which ultimately helps in reducing the gender gap in the workforce.
The awareness and generation of knowledge is very important.
There needs to be aggressive approach to promoting women entrepreneurism.
Women should be groomed and trained from early stages in their education curriculum.
Systematic re-instatement of gender roles.
