• Static data when using magstripe transaction: • Dynamic data with every transaction
- Card number PAN • Strong cryptography protects and can be updated
- Cardholder name by issuers with secret keys.
- Expiry date • Can run several applications.
- Service code • Much more complex in transaction process.
• Information is protected with 3-digit checksum
