MECHANICS & CRITERIA FOR JUDGING

1. The World Patient Safety 2022 theme this year is “Medication Safety:
Medication without Harm". All artworks done by the contestants should
be related to the said theme.
2. All contestants are requested to be at the SLH-Amphitheater at 12nn
on September 12, 2022 (Actual day of poster making contest).
3. All art materials will be provided to you by the Hospital Patient Safety
Committee for free. Use only the provided 15"x20" illustration boards.
4. Allowed coloring medium: watercolor, coloring pen/pencil, poster paint
color, pentel pen and oil pastels. The contestant may use his/her
preferred material/s on his/her own expense.
5. All artworks must be done on the spot and must be completed by the
contestants within 2 hours.
6. Submission of Artwork: all entries will be prenumbered upon receipt
from the contestants. NOTE: Any identifying marks in relation to the
identification of the contestant is not allowed.
7. All submitted artworks will be a property of the committee and
authorized the Hospital Patient Safety Committee to use it for
whatever campaign purposes for advocacy and logo projects.
8. The criteria for judging are: Relevance to the theme 40%; Creativity and
presentation 30%; and Poll vote 30% Total of 100%.
9. All entries will be posted during the "VIRTUAL FORUM" that will be
held on September 14, 2022 via Zoom for a 30% poll vote.
10. The awarding of winners will be on September 14, 2022 via Zoom after
the "VIRTUAL FORUM".
