and Responsible
Speech
The various types of speech reflect the different
needs and occasions that people experience. An
adequate awareness of these aspects of speech
delivery prepares the speaker for the task ahead.
speech is thoroughly prepared and practiced, but
is delivered in conversational style. Speakers
prepare outlines of ideas of their speeches
beforehand, but do not memorize an exact pattern
of words. They choose the words with which to
clothe their ideas as they are speaking. Outlines or
note cards may or may not be used.
Methods of speech
delivery
The Impromptu speech is delivered
without advance preparation.
The manuscript speech is delivered
from a prepared speech. Using this
method, speakers write down everything
they plan to say to their listeners, then
bring their manuscripts to the podium
and read them to the audience.
• The memorized speech also begins with
a written manuscript; it requires the
longest investment of time. the speakers
develops the manuscript and spends
additional time memorizing it word for
word.
Comparing Methods of
Delivery
Manuscript Method has an advantage in that
there is no danger of forgetting a part of your
speech
Memorized delivery has some of the
advantages as manuscript delivery. Memorized
delivery often sounds prepackaged, however, as
indeed it is.
Extemporaneous method sounds more like
"telling" the speech than like "reading" it.
Impromptu method sounds natural, much like
ordinary conversion
Part of Speech Topic
The Introduction. A speaker creates a
"need to know" for the audience. It
should contain an attention grabber,
followed by a statement about the topic.

into the body section. The length of the
speech depends on the amount of time
the speaking has been allotted.

it is where the majority of information is stored.
consequently, it requires careful thought as well as
some imagination to recognize the body of speech
effectively. the time consider the way to organize
the body of speech is after the selection and
sequencing of the points to make. The body of
speech can be recognize in a number of ways,
depending on the topic.

the opening attention getter. The closing statement
should act as a very clear signals to the audience

the audience of the overall theme and main
message that they have to take with them; It
