This document provides the lesson plan and objectives for a lesson on prints in art class. The lesson objectives are to distinguish between prints and drawings/paintings, appreciate printmaking through hand prints, and create prints by applying dyes to body parts and pressing them onto paper. The lesson will discuss what prints are, how to make prints using found objects by rubbing them with pencils or crayons, and how the texture of found objects can be shown through printing. Students will complete an activity answering questions about prints in their MAPEH textbook and send a photo of their work.

ARTS Mr. Ronald B. Cacao MAPEH Teacher Learning Objectives At the end of the lesson the students should be able to:
1. Distinguish between a print and a drawing or painting.
2. Appreciate the printmaking by doing the hand prints. 3. Create a print by applying dyes on one’s finger or palm or any part of the body and pressing it to the paper, cloth to create impression. LESSON 1 w ith WHAT ARE PRINTS? PRINTS ARE MADE WHEN PICTURES, LETTERS, OR DRAWINGS ARE TRANSFERRED O N A PAPER OR CLOTH.
MAKING PRINTS IS FUN BECAUSE PICTURES, LETTERS,
OR DRAWINGS CAN BE COPPIED MANY TIMES. WHAT ARE PRINTS USING FOUND OBJECTS? THERE ARE THINGS THAT ARE BEING THROWN AWAY, BUT THEY ARE COLLECTED TO BE USED AGAIN THEY ARE CALLED 'FOUND OBJECTS'. AND THESE OBJECTS CAN BE USED TO CREATE PRINTS.
SOME OF THESE ARE BOTTLE CAPS, PAPER CLIPS, COINS, STRINGS,
AND MANY MORE. PRINTS ARE DONE BY RUBBING A PENCIL OR CRAYONS O N THESE FOUND OBJECTS. HOW CAN FOUND OBJECTS BE USED TO MAKE PRINTS? PRINTS ARE MADE BY RUBBING PAPER OVER FOUND OBJECTS. THE PROCESS OF RUBBING WILL SHOW THE TEXTURE OF THE MATERIALS. TEXTURE IS WHAT YOU FEEL WHEN YOU TOUCH A MATERIAL. IT
COULD BE SMOOTH, IT COULD BE ROUGH JUST LIKE THE FEEL OF
THE SAND IN THE BEACH WHEN YOU WALK O N IT WITHOUT
YOUR SLIPPERS, OR IT COULD BE THE ROUGHNESS OF MANY
STONES FOUND IN YOUR SCHOOL GROUND.
