EBI
I digitally edited them.

I like the images of the rusted axe and hook as their

rusty colour is mesmerising to look at. I also like the 2
locks pictures as one of them is colourful and the other
is colourful and swirly.

My pictures link to lock as 2 of my pictures are

literal locks and the ones with a rusty axe and hook
are both still life images and have rust locked to
them.

I could digitally edit them

Evaluation

One of my final pieces consists of a hock with a bright, light blue area of one part and a brown colour for the
other part. It also has blue ropes connecting to it. The other image consists of a gate latch that is pink and is
connected to a pink gate. It looks similar to cotton candy.

The hook image relates to the theme of lock because it is a still life object and the gate latch is also a still life
image.

They work as a set as they are a part of typology and they are literal locks. They also use a lot of repetition in the
form of pop art style.

The photographs have an alive and expressive mood and they also have flamboyant, mixed, and warm colours.

I want the viewer to feel alive and expressive.

The message that is portrayed is the message of typology and locks

I have researched into Bernd and Hiller Becher, Irving Penn, Irina Souiki and Corey Holms for inspiration.
