Jim Richardson was born in Kansas in the United States.

He was born on the 5th of December 1947 making him 75 years old.
He uses aperture techniques to focus his photos and uses the style of rule of thirds in his photographs.
I am inspired by his aperture techniques to put objects in focus and blur the background.

Jim richardson is an aperture specialised photographer that was born in Kansas in the United States.
He was born on the 5th December 1947 making him 75 years old currently.

This photograph is from Jim Richardson’s Scottish Landscape

gallery collection. Most of the photos from the collection
including this one were taken back in 2011. This series includes a
lot of aperture focused photos where the main object is in focus
and the background is blurred. The photo shows the focus on the
main animal and then the ominous blur in the background creating
a sense of mystery.

In the photograph my eye is mainly drawn to the horse as it is fully in focused compared to the
blurred backdrop. I like the very high amount of detail that Jim Richardson has been able to capture
on the horse and even in the back with the ocean and mountainous background.

I will be influenced by Jim Richardson's photos by using the same style as him and creating a strong
focus on the main objective. In my photos there will be a lot of detail but mainly the background will
be completely blurred and less eye catching.

MOST SUCCESSFUL EDIT FROM SHOOT.

There is a very good and shallow depth of field in this photo with a great background. I have also edited it to smooth out his skin
and making the vibrance in the photo stand out more
