Alouette 1 in 1962
•Anik 1 in 1972 🡪 satellite used for
telecommunication coverage (ie:
satellite tv)
•Canada is good for
communication satellites

•Bigger, stronger and smarter than the original
•Arm can bend around corners and grab objects with computer-
controlled fingers
•Move itself outside the ISS, making it able to go to any part of the ISS
