Abstract :

• Solar energy is rapidly advancing as an important means of

renewable energy resource.
• It is radiant light and heat from the Sun that is harnessed using a
range of ever-evolving technologies such as solar heating,
photovoltaic, solar thermal energy, solar architecture, molten salt
power plants and artificial photosynthesis.
• The use of solar cleaner can increase electricity production by
around a third, and some claim by as much as 40% in some regions,
compared with modules at a fixed angle.
• In any solar application, the conversion efficiency is improved
when the modules are continually adjusted to the optimum angle as
the sun traverses the sky.
Objective

• The objective of this project is to clean the solar panel so that the energy generation can be
maximized.
• To control the cleaner periodically or using mobile app
Project methodology/modules
Automated self-cleaning:
A solar panel cleaning system is proposed in order to make a solar panel operate at the best power
generation state, while the solar panel is used in dusty environment. This project consists of two DC
motors, wiper unit and sprayer. Server sends cleaning instruction periodically and same can be controlled
using mobile app.

Nodemcu to server connection:

We are using nodemcu Esp8266 for Wi-Fi module to connect the Wi-Fi. We have connected the ESP8266
to the Internet and send data to a server. We will be sending data to server. After receiving data from client
side, current and voltage status will be saving in database.
