INTRODUCTION
Switzerland or the Swiss Federation, as it is officially called, needs no introduction. One of the worlds foremost travel destinations, Switzerland has more to offer than pristine Alpine beauty. Its breath-taking landscape is made more vibrant by its multi-cultural flavour and an abundance of the good things in life cheese, wine, chocolate and ski resorts.
Although Switzerland has strong ties with neighbouring countries in Europe, it became an official member of the UN only in 2002. While Switzerland is active in many UN and international organizations, it retains a strong commitment to neutrality

Religions in Switzerland
SWIZZ MUSIC
Switzerland has a long musical tradition. Folk music including yodeling continues to be a popular musical style. Instruments such as the Alpenhorn are played by musicians even today. Switzerland hosts many music festivals annually including the Montreux Jazz Festival. The Opera House in Zurich is a grand auditorium where the world's best opera singers perform.
SWISS CUISINE
Switzerland is known for Swiss chocolates, Swiss Cheese and many local specialties, including Fondue, a dish made of melted cheese. Baking is a traditional Swiss occupation and Swiss Bread including rolls, pastry and strudel are popular food items.
Apple cider, wines, and various meat dishes including sausages and pies are made in Switzerland, which is known for its delicious cuisine.
