The landscapes in the
Philippines are as varied
and colourful as the
people who call them
home.
How does an area’s
terrain affect the way of
life of the people who
reside here?

The livelihood of the


people depends on the
terrain of the area in
which they live.
Though commercialism and
development have changed and
reshaped a huge part of the
natural scenery into stone and
steel structures.

BATANES
Batanes is one of the most beautiful landscapes in the Philippines.

IFUGAO
The Ifugao or I-pugao, “inhabitants of
the known earth” are the residents of
the province of Ifugao in Central
Cordillera in northern Luzon.

Banaue Rice Terraces

the “eight wonders of
the world.”
The principal work in the Agriculture’s importance is
