Any Idea of what Bank Account
means?
Bank Account is a financial account
maintained by a bank or other financial
institution in which the financial
transactions between the bank and a
customer are recorded.
There are two types of bank
accounts, who have any idea
what those are?
Have you seen a passbook
and ATM cards?

How about the Current
or Checking Account?
Like with savings account, checking account does have also passbook
and ATM cards. This type of account is encouraged for business
account. Bank check as an acceptable form of payment allows
depositors to pay large sums using one sheet of paper instead of
carrying currencies. Banks usually allows numerous withdrawals and
unlimited deposit under this type of account. The interest rate for
checking account is usually lower as compared to a savings account.
The account holder or depositor of a checking account is normally
provided at the end of the month a bank statement showing all the
deposits made, checks paid by the bank, and the balance of the
account. Depositor is given easy access to the funds as compared to a
savings account.
