Introduction

• Public sector organisations are the ones which are


publically owned by the government and that
provides goods and services for community
benefits.

• The presentation will be based on a non-profit


organisation as well as a non-profit organisation.

• The environmental analysis of these two business


organisation will be demonstrated.
PESTEL Analysis of BBC
 Political Factors: Stable political conditions are required for
maintaining the self-regulatory policies implemented
within the activities of the BBC.

 Economic Factors: The economic capabilities of the nation


help in deciding whether its citizens are willing to spend on
broadcasting and other forms of media.

 Social Factors: The cultural diversity in the UK often makes


it difficult for BBC to cover all the necessary updates of
different cultural concepts.

made in the UK environment often helps BBC to broadcasts its
news effectively.
• Environmental Factors: Being a public organisation,
maintaining corporate social responsibility is an utmost duty
for BBC.

manages the activities of BBC and helps them to create their
own content.

• Political Factors: No non-profit organisation in the UK


could conduct its operations without the help of the
stable political conditions.

• Economic Factors: The strong economic capacity of


individuals in the UK allows Reprieve to invest more in
its activities and also enhance their value.

• Social Factors: Diversification in the UK environment


also requires individuals to enhance their reach in the
competitive business process.

Reprieve to get in touch with all its clients and enhance their
outreach.
• Environmental factors: All the operational activities of
Reprieve are required to be bounded within the environmental

to help out all of their clients.
Conclusion

• The presentation has demonstrated some of


the important aspects relating to the non-profit
and public sector business organisation.
• Analysis of the external environment has been

to overcome its problems.
