What they do
•The trussell trust is a nationwide network of food
banks and together they provide emergency food
and support to people facing hardship, and
campaign for change to end the need for food banks
in the UK.

•Their networks of more than 1,300 food banks


around the UK provide a minimum oof three days
nutritionally balanced emergency food to people
who have been referred as well as support and
advice to help People maximise their incomes and
lift themselves out of poverty.
Food banks in their networks welcome and support everyone
who is referred to them, always acting with respect and without
judgement. Volunteers will gove a minimum of three days
emergency food and offer support to resolve some of the
difficulties you might be facing,

How to get a food voucher

In order to get help from a food bak you will need to be


fefderred with a voucher, which can be issued by a number of
local community organisations ( schools, GPs and advice
agencies). Your local food banks can advise which agencies can
help.
