    Ways to avoid environmental pollution.
    Air Pollution
     Reduce the number of trips you take in
    your car.
     Reduce or eliminate fireplace and wood
    stove use.
     Avoid burning leaves, trash, and other
    materials.
     Avoid using gas-powered lawn and
    garden equipment.
    Noise Pollution
    • Upgrade your insulation.
    • Noise cancelling headphones and earplugs.
    • Turn off electrical appliances.
    • Place furniture strategically in your property.
    Soil Pollution

     Reduce toxic materials.


     Recycle waste materials.
     Buy organics products, especially
    organic cleaners, pesticides,
    insecticides and fertilizers.
     Avoid littering.
     Take initiative to inform others
    about the harmful effects of
    littering.
     Improve fertility of the land by
    reforesting.
    Water Pollution
     Do not pour fat from cooking or
    any other type of fat, oil, or grease
    down the sink.
     Do not dispose of household
    chemicals or cleaning agents down
    the sink or toilet.
     Do not flush pills, liquid or powder
    medications or drugs down the
    toilet.
     Avoid using the toilet as a
    wastebasket.
     Avoid using a garbage disposal.
