Baptized at Jordan
River
From Galilee, Jesus
came to John at the
Jordan River.
To be baptized by John
After Jesus was
baptized just as he came
from the water..
Suddenly, the heavens
opened up to him…
Then he saw the Spirit
of God descending like
a DOVE…
And the voice from
heaven said:
“This is my Son, the
Beloved, with whom I
am well pleased.”
Jesus’ baptism show how God
LOVES and CARES for Him.

We too, we are personally

connected to God.
We are challenged to
follow His humility
and trust in God’s
will.
Sacrament of Baptism
As Children of God, we
become witness to God the
Father, the Son and the Holy
Spirit when we are baptized.
For this is how we are
baptized :
“N (Name of the Child),
I baptized you in the name of
the Father, of the Son and of the
Holy Spirit”
Through the cleansing power
of the water and Spirit
we share a new life of Christ
which includes the
forgiveness of sins (original
and personal)
we became members of the
Body of Christ, the Church.
With the grace of God, we are
called to an ongoing conversion
and commit to live our
Christian life in words and
works
Thus the Sacrament of
Baptism has something to do
in our lives
