Introduction
 Voice refers to the form of a verb that indicates when a
grammatical subject performs the action or is the receiver
of the action

 In active voice the subject of the verb is doing the action


 In passive voice the subject of the verb is being acted on
I ate the food → The food was eaten by me

Active Passive
Affirmatives:
S+V2+Object S+ was/were+ V3+prep+object
Ali played cricket Cricket was played by Ali
Negatives:
S+did+not+V1+object S+was/were+not+V3+prep+object

Ali did not play cricket Cricket was not played by Ali
