What is warehouse ?

a commercial space vital in the supply chain that is used to store finished goods and
raw materials and is widely used in industries such as manufacturing and distribution.
RECEIVING AND SHIPPING
AREA

This is where goods and materials are received from suppliers and vendors and where goods are
 .packed, labeled, and shipped to customers or other locations
STAGING AREA

This is an area where goods and materials are temporarily stored before they are moved to
their final destination. 
FREEZER STORE

This is a storage area that is maintained at sub-zero temperatures, typically used


for storing frozen food products.
REFRIGERATED STORE

This is a storage area that is maintained at temperatures above freezing but


below room temperature, typically used for storing perishable food products. 
CROSS-DOCKING AREA

This is an area where goods are transferred directly from inbound trucks to
outbound trucks, without being stored in the warehouse. 
AMBIENT TEMPERATURE STORE

This is a storage area that is maintained at room temperature, typically


used for storing non-perishable goods.
RACKING SYSTEM

•I will use Mobile racking is a type of high-density storage


system that maximizes the use of available space in a
warehouse. In a mobile racking system, shelving or pallet
racks are mounted on mobile bases that move along tracks
installed in the floor. The racks can be moved apart or together
to create an aisle for accessing stored items.
