A STUDY ON “EFFECTIVENESS OF WELFARE SCHEMES ON EMPLOYEE
TURNOVER AND EMPLOYEE SATISFACTION IN KERALA KHADI AND
VILLAGE INDUSRTY ASSOCIATION , AVINISSERY”
INTRODUCTION TO THE STUDY
• This study focuses on employee benefits and welfare schemes by
analyzing in details the organisation and identify the reasons for
employee turnover.
• Employee welfare is the interest of employee,employer and the
society as a whole, it enables employee to perform their work in
healthy and favourable enviornment .
• Welfare schemes provide higher motivation to stay back in the
organisation
• And also analyzes the Employee satisfaction in the organisation.
COMPANY PROFILE
• KERLA KHADI AND VILLAGE INDUSTRIES
AVINISSERY,CHERPU,THRISSUR, KERALA , MSME a statuatory board
formed by Govt of India . The KVIC is charged with planning ,
promotion , and implementation of programs for the devolepment of
khadi and other village industries in the rural areas in coordination
with other agencies engaged in rural devolepment wherever
neccessary . Mainly they are producing Hand spun woven fibre cloth
(cotton is the main raw material )
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
Employee benefits and Welfare is the most important issues conserning the
employees. The study undertaken inorder to understand the benefit packages and
welfare schemes provided by the organisation , garther the opinion of the
employees about these facilities and also to know the reasons for their
dissatisfaction if any . This study mainly highlights the employee turnover and
current problem faced byemployees in the KHADI AND VILLAGE INDUSTRIES
AVINISSERY . This study suggest suitable reccomendations to improve employee
satisfaction in khadi and village industry association Avinissery .
OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY
 To understand the current benefits and welfare schemes available in
the organisations
 To find out the reasons for Employee turn over .
 To study the problems faced by the employees in the organisations.
 To analyze the working conditions of the employees.
 To find out whether the employees are satisfied in their job or not.
 To suggest the measures to improve job satisfaction .

SCOPE OF THE STUDY
• The scope of the study is to identify the effectiveness of employee
welfare schemes on employee turnover,and to identified the factors
effecting employee satisfaction .
CONCLUSION
• Employee welfare schemes and employee turnover plays a vital role
in the organisation , The main objective of the study is to examine the
effect of employee welfare schemes on employee turn over
• By providing employee welfare schemes it will improve employee job
satisfaction .
