No, we changed it because we outgrew the name Practicum and it no longer fit our company’s
personality. The name Practicum is literal and functional; we wanted to choose something that
.reflects our personality and our approach to learning, which is more fun and experiential

We are taking all necessary steps this year to become an independent organization that is fully
based in the US. This has always been part of our plans since launching our programs in the US and
.globally, so this is an exciting time for us

If they want to know more detail: We are currently still owned by the Yandex N.V Dutch public
company which is located in the Netherlands. Within a few months we will finish fully separating
from Yandex, becoming our own independent company based in the US. We are already registered
.as a US incorporated business, one of our important steps towards independence

Our global TripleTen business operates in the US as our largest portion of our business. In the
