Theory, our beloved group of brilliant scientists
embarks on a data analytics project focused on
unraveling the secrets behind luxury car prices.
Determined to apply their analytical prowess,
Sheldon, Leonard, Howard, and Raj team up for
this captivating endeavor.
The team delves into an extensive dataset,
analyzing historical pricing data from various
luxury car brands. With their unique blend of
expertise, they uncover intriguing relationships
between pricing and key attributes such as brand
reputation, engine power, features, and market
demand.
Leveraging advanced statistical techniques and
machine learning algorithms, the team reveals
hidden patterns and correlations within the data.
They discover that brand exclusivity, technological
advancements, and consumer preferences play
pivotal roles in determining luxury car prices.
Below are the teams' findings.
Univariate Analysis

• Most of the car has a Curb Weight is in

range 1900 to 3100
• The Engine Size is in range 60 to 190
• Most vehicle has horsepower 50 to 125
• Most Vehicle are in price range 5000 to
18000
• peak rpm is mostly distributed between
4600 to 5700
Bivariate Analysis
Price based on
Manufacturer
•Mercedes-Benz ,BMW, Jaguar,
Porshe produces expensive cars
more than 25000
•Chevrolet, Dodge, Honda,
Mitsubishi, Nissan, Plymouth,
Subaru, Toyota produces budget
models with lower prices.
Price based on
body style
•Hardtop model are expensive in
prices followed by convertible and
sedan body style
•Turbo models have higher prices
than for the standard model
•Convertible has only standard
edition with expensive cars
•hatchback and sedan turbo models
are available below 20000
 Price based on
fuel types
• Gas is preferred by more than 85
% of the vehicles
• Gas models have many outliers
but diesel cars have more
expensive models.
Price based on
fuel system
• Mpfi models have the most
number of outliers followed
by 2bbl
• Mpfi and idi are in the higher
price ranges and 2bbl and
mfi are in the lower price
ranges
Price based on
Aspiration
• Turbo models have higher prices
than for the standard mode.
• There are much more outliers in
the standard model than in the
turbo models
Price based on drive
wheels

• rwd wheel drive vehicle have

expensive prices
• 4wd has the least ouliers.
Price based
on engine size
• The price range from 5000 to
45,000 and above.
• The size range from 50 to
300 and above.
Price based on
Horsepower
• Price is the highest in
horsepower range 170-200 bhp.
• It just crosses the 40000 range
at its maximum peak.
