Introduction
.....................................................
White hair is a problem that many individuals have or are presently experiencing. People are often embarrassed to
have this problem since it makes them appear old. When a person is deficient in nutrients and under excessive stress,
white hairs appear; all of the subsequent arrangements cause the hair to become unhealthy and faulty. The pigment
melanin or hair is affected, resulting in white hair. People tend to buy shampoos but they can be rather costly. Rambutan
(Nephelium lappaceum) is one of the local fruits that can be utilized to minimize white hairs. Its leaves include saponins,
tannins, and polyphenols, which can help prevent white hairs. Making this is also quite simple and does not require any
expensive supplies because you will simply just do the following; Collection of materials, Preparation of the right
proportions of the extract of Rambutan (Nephelium lappaceum), Preparation of Different Concentrations, Testing the
Potential of the Product, Recording, Analyzing, and Interpretation of data. Because of the abundance of Rambutan
(Nephelium lappaceum) trees, the leaves can be used to generate cash in addition to the fruit. Through this procedure,
families that are selling Rambutan (Nephelium lappaceum) will be helped by buying the leaves from the tree. The leaves
not only prevent growing gray/silver hairs but also reduce hair loss, maintain the health of your scalp, etc. The objective of
this study is to determine the efficiency of Rambutan (Nephelium lappaceum) leaves extract in reducing white hairs. The
setting of the study will be Malaya, Pililla, Rizal, Malaya Integrated National High School from February 3 until the month
of May. Weighted Mean and One-Way ANOVA will be used in this experiment. The following research study aims to make
a natural and easy-to-make shampoo using the extract of Rambutan (Nephelium lappaceum) leaves that will help people
with white hair, the environment, and future researchers.

Statement of the Problem
.....................................................
This study aims to determine the level of efficiency of Rambutan
(Nephelium lappaceum) leaves in reducing white hairs.

Specifically, it seeks to answer the following questions:

1. What is the level of efficiency of Rambutan (Nephelium lappaceum) leaves
extract in reducing white hairs in terms of texture, color, appearance, and
aroma compared to commercial hair color products?
2. Is there a significant difference in the ability of Rambutan (Nephelium
lappaceum) leaves extract in reducing white hairs in terms of texture, color,
appearance, and aroma compared to commercial hair color products?
Chapter 1
Significance of the Study
.....................................................
The following group of people will be benefited:
People with white hair – The findings and the least expensive findings of
this study will help people with white hair to save their expenses in buying
commercial hair coloring products and going to the parlors.
Environment – Traditional shampoos and conditioners often contain
harmful chemicals that can be harmful to the environment. Natural hair care
products like this one will be more sustainable and eco-friendly.
Future researchers – The findings of this study will serve as an influence
to future researchers to gather data about the leaves of the fruits they have
nearby on what they can do.
