Methodology

Introduction – This chapter explains various methodologies that were used in gathering data and analysis
which are relevant to the research. The methodologies will include areas such as the location of the study,
research, design, sampling and sample size, types of data, data collection method and its management.

Research Design – This study descriptive research design is defined as a research method that describes
the fraternity members that are lurking and trespassing around the school grounds and as if what they are up
to.
Sample and Sampling Procedure – The study is centered on the experiences of Grade 8 – 10 students of
GRSA. All of the students are the participants that have been interviewed, except for Grade 7 students.

Data Gathering Methods – The researches used interview to find out the members of those who are
aware. Here are the following questions to answer:

1. What is fraternity?
2. Have you ever encountered one? Explained your experience.
3. What do you feel when you heard about fraternity in the school?
4. What do you think of why they lurk around the school grounds in secret?
5. What do you think are their intensions and goals?
Data Analysis – The research take several steps as they conduct the interview to ensure that the data are
meticulously checked for accuracy, organized and properly analyzed for interpretation. The researchers will then
go on to describe the data analysis process, which involved a thematic analysis approach. The interview data
were examined to carefully find out every witness and identity of that incident. Here are the data analysis
procedure to be used in analyzing the gathered data.

Frequency -The total number of 3 curriculums from Grade 8 to Grade 10

Mean -The average of all the number of students

Median -The middle number of students in order

Mode -The most common number of students
