Stems have uses. Stems connect the roots and the
leaves of plants. They hold the leaves, flowers,
and fruits. They are the way of food and water to
the different parts of the plants. Stems may be
eaten. Celery, kangkong, gabi, spring onions,
asparagus, and bamboo shoots are edible
( meaning,may be eaten ) stems.

All plants have roots, but roots vary
from one plant to another.Some roots are
fibrous like grass. Some are long, thick,
and fleshy. Others
