A complete system
The 7KT/7KM PAC measuring devices are more than just the indispensable basis
for all types of energy management. Coupled with our powermanager power
monitoring software, they also offer a complete power monitoring system.
Simplified installation, a wide range of measuring devices, and easy-to-use
software: the system from the SENTRON portfolio is optimally suited for small-
and medium-sized businesses in industry and infrastructure.
Quickly and simply get a transparent picture of energy flows while keeping costs
down: the power monitoring system from the SENTRON portfolio requires no
expert knowledge for commissioning and is available in small, entry-level starter
packages. Both hardware and software can be easily expanded.

Integer multiples of the fundamental frequency are
known as harmonics.
• Harmonics are caused by non-linear loads, e.g. byswitched-mode power supplies, fluorescent lamps, frequency
converters or arc furnaces
• As a rule, only odd-numbered harmonics occur. The existence of significant even-numbered harmonics indicates
abnormal conditions.

The main target group comprises existing power monitoring customers in industry. Here, engineering technologists should be addressed. First, network problems
have already been encountered in own production because of external or internal interferences. Second, the power quality is an important criterion for
the proper function of the product (or of the plant) with their customers. Switchgear engineers, energy consultants and management can be addressed
with similar arguments.

The market launch of the 7KM PAC5100/5200 measuring devices is primarily aimed at existing power monitoring customers who already
operate a power monitoring system using the 7KT and 7KM PAC measuring devices as well as the powermanager power monitoring
software. With due regard of the defined target groups, the aim here is to convince these existing customers of the advantages offered by
power quality analysis.
For example, a machine manufacturer/plant constructor may see their customers overseas confronted by a different/lower power quality
than in the plant’s country of manufacture. The measuring devices allows them to check whether the required power quality actually
reaches at the plant.
The 7KM PAC 5100/5200 measuring devices therefore present not only the energy flow, but also the power quality in the building, in a
transparent manner. In this way, it is possible to identify disruptive influences arising between different plants.
The devices are soon integrated into the powermanager power monitoring software and can then also be parameterized by means of
powerconfig.
The main target group comprises existing power monitoring customers in industry. Here, engineering technologists should be addressed. First, network problems
have already been encountered in own production because of external or internal interferences. Second, the power quality is an important criterion for the proper
function of the product (or of the plant) with their customers. Switchgear engineers, energy consultants and management can be addressed with similar arguments.

The main target group comprises existing power monitoring customers in industry. Here, engineering technologists should be addressed.
These frequently already have 7KM PAC3200 and 7KM PAC4200 measuring devices in use. Especially in Germany, system shutdown
during DGUV3 inspection can be prevented. That saves time and money.
