    Police were more strict with blacks
    Black Jobs were insecure
    Separate public object for blacks
    The Hidden Figures:
    Katherine
    She was thought to be a custodian
    She had to run miles to the closes colored restroom
    Her capabilities as a woman were disrespected
    No one was willing to use the same coffee pot she used
    Her salary was not enough to buy even a pearl-necklace
    Mary
    Her career was slowed due to her color
    She had to go to a court to get the education she desired
    The school she went to was still segregated
    Dorothy
    Her position had the responsibilities of a supervisor but not her salary
    The black section of libraries were lower in quality
    Blacks had separate seats on public transport
    She had to break rules to make progress
