Dolphins habitat
• Most dolphins live in the shallow waters of the ocean’s in tropical and
temperate waters.
• There are also lesser-known dolphins in rivers of the world, for example
in China, South America, India, Pakistan, and Southeast Asia.
• The larger species of dolphins, like the killer whale, can be found living
away from the coastline in deep ocean waters.
What does dolphins eats?

• Dolphins’ mostly eats fish. Dolphins in the deep ocean often


feed on jellyfish or squid. They can also eat various additional
marine animals. Sometimes, dolphins eat
small rocks, seaweed pieces, small
shellfish, and other invertebrates.

• 1) Bottlenose dolphins live up to 40 years but the Orca can live
up to 80 years.

• 2) Dolphins are sometimes thought of as the dogs of the sea


because they are usually playful and friendly. Scientists believe
they’re as smart as chimpanzees or dogs.

• 3) Male dolphins are called “bulls”, females are called “cows”


and the young dolphins are called “calves”. Calves stay
alongside their mothers up to 3 years and sometimes up to 8
years.
