What is ERP?
ERP is a system that links all departments together.
But what is the role of ERP?

ERP allows us to calculate the productivity, the resources you will need,
and determine the best prices for suppliers so, it will decrease and avoid
the mistakes of human factors.

For example:
ERP in HR will let you monitor the employees, their jobs, their productivity,
and dates of attendance and departure for each worker, so, this will let do
incentives for the obligor employee and deduct from the employees that
don’t do their work well.
History of ERP
1960s Manufacturers develop basic Material Requirements Planning(MRP) systems.

1970s More manufacturers use MRP systems, the first system providers founded.

1980s Manufacturing Resource Planning(MRP II) systems debut with more


capabilities.

1990s Enterprise Resource Planning(ERP) systems debut,


integrating all business functions.

2000s ERP II(internet-enabled) systems developed, cloud ERP gains traction.

2010s ERP processes data in real-time starts to leverage machine learning

chosen to talk about is a huge company
that was established in 1958 and still
working up till now.

reporting.
•Inefficient management procedures were
also affecting the ability of HR staff to
complete their job effectively
•LG Electronics began developing in a human
resources management system (HRMS) using a
range of Oracle Human Resources modules to
replace its subsidiary’s separate HR applications.

system developed on Oracle to manage
