THERE WILL BE

BLOOD
PRESENTED BY: KHARELL TADIPA AND KRISTIAN PESA
PLOT

Daniel Plainview, a ruthless silver miner turned oil prospector, moved to oil-rich
California. Plainview deceives local landowners into selling him their
rich estates for a low price by posing as a trustworthy family man through his adopted
son HW. Local pastor Eli Sunday, on the other hand, has suspicions
about Plainview's motives and plans, igniting a battle that threatens both of their lives.
ANALYZATION

The moody atmosphere of the movie and the sinister-ish sound used in the movie,
heightened the dark scenes. It complemented the overall plot and setting
which makes the movie good and worth to watch. The acting of the actors and actresses
also made the movie good. Actor Daniel Day-Lewis portrayed Daniel
Plainview well, he was able to show the mannerisms and the selfishness of Daniel
Plainview well. The props and the costumes used in the movie also caught
my eye because it is accurate and matched the timeline of the movie.
OPINION

I like the scene where he abandoned HW, his son, on the train going to San Francisco
because it showed that Daniel loves his son although he is an orphan but
his "love" is selfish, loving him only for his emotional needs rather than what HW
wanted or needed. Overall, the whole movie is great. The plot and acting
is done well and in my opinion, it's worth watching.
