POTENTIAL APPRAISAL

Meaning: The potential appraisal refers to the appraisal


identification of the hidden talent and skills of the person.
The person might to might not be aware of them.

Example: A good salesman need not to be a good


manager in the sales function since the job of sales
manager require managerial qualities apart from selling
skills.
Definition of potential appraisal

 Potential appraisal is a process of determining an


employee’s strength and weakness with a view to this
as a predictor of his future performance.
