 LOCATION:
 Munich is located in Europe, Germany, being the capital of this same country. Munich borders
Thuringia to the north, Switzerland to the south, the Czech Republic to the east, and Baden-
Württemberg to the west.
 DESCRIPTION:
 It is the German city where the most companies are listed on the stock index, the region being an importan
economic engine of the financial, technological, automotive and service industries.
 Based on the renowned study and list of countries with the highest quality of life in the world by Mercer in
2019, Munich is the city with the highest quality of life in Germany, as well as the third in the world, an
outstading global position in which in the same year the study coincided.
 Things to do:
 Visit the royal palace in Munich:
In this place it was built in 1385 being one of the most visited and you can go to: Cúvilles theater, the treasure of
jewels and the antiquarium.
 Visit the Odeonsplatz and its monuments:
• Among the things you can do is enjoy the different live concerts that take place in the Hofgarten.
• Right there, too, you can participe in petanque tournaments or visit the Biergarten or terraces the beer and
have a drink.
• Also, you can enjoy the scenery and read a good book.
 Visit the Munich Cathedral:

• The Munich Cathedral is the most important religious building in the city.
• Its twin towers dominate the skyline, making it one of the best-known symbols of Munich.
• You can visit: Mausoleum of Louis IV of Bavaria, Holy Roman Emperor. Crypt, where more than ten
members of the Wittelsbach dynasty are buried, as well as several archbishops and cardinals of the Munich
Cathedral.
• Organs, they still hold concerts regularly.
 Visit the Viktualienmarkt:
• Located in the heart of Munich, Viktualienmarkt is a 22,000-square-meter food market where
more than 140 vendors offer fruit, flowers, cheese, and other colorful products.
• Viktualienmarkt is a lively space that brings tourists and locals together. either to buy fresh
products, eat something in their stalls, or to have a refreshing beer in the pleasant biergarten, one
of the most famous in the center of Munich.
• If one day you don't want to eat at a restaurant, in this market you will find an infinite number of
quality products to eat something quickly and relatively cheaply.
Most important soccer team:
 The most famous team in Munich is Bayern Munich with 33 Bundesliga titles, eleven of them consecutively
in the last decade (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023), 18 German Cups
and 6 Champions League.
