BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY


• COVID-19 has made it more obvious that the public school system
cannot fulfill its mission without families. This pandemic, there were
lots of crises occurred and education of children were also affected.

• School, family and community engagement were heightened during


pandemic. More collaboration and cooperation were very much
needed for school-home relationship in terms of pupil’s education.

• To strengthen the involvement of parents and the community on the


extent of partnership between the school and community in relation
to all projects and programs of the school is the rationale of the
researcher of the study.

BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

• Since the researcher is a classroom teacher, the researcher


stressed on educational approaches to strengthen the participation
of parents and community with all school projects and activities.

• Management plan would be the output of the researcher to


strengthen the school – home relationship.

1.Measure the extent of partnership between the school
and community in relation to schools’ programs, projects
and activities as assessed by the school heads, teachers,
and parents along the following:
1.1 student’s achievement
1.2 infrastructure development
1.3 instructional materials
1.4 learning modality
1.5 curriculum design

2. Find out the difference among the school heads, teachers, and
parents’ responses on the extent of partnership between the school
and community in relation to schools’ programs, projects, and
activities

3. Determine the initiatives of the school in developing the


relationship with the stakeholders in relation to projects and
activities undertaken by community

- 100 school heads, 1,000 teachers and 1,500 parents.
- Raosoft sampling
