INTRODUCTION
Film
Film is a visual image and a sound
effect that can convey a story
displayed on a screen. (Eagleton,
1996: 149) . such as poetry, films
conveyed through grand messages,
symbolic, or other figurative
language. Like drama, film is
conveyed through visual and verbal
language. Like prose, film is also
loaded with narrative elements.
However, in contrast to these
literary genres, films have a
distinctive language, namely visual
language. (Sudarisman, 2016)
