At the top left corner of the screen, look for the word ‘New Slide’ in the “Home tab” and click
on it. Select ‘Blank’.

Let’s insert a picture from ‘online pictures’

Search for “Gruffalo” and insert the picture.

Move the picture into the box.

Step 1: Left click on the Gruffalo
Step 2: Look at the “animations” tab, choose an animation for the Gruffalo
Step 3: Repeat for the Venus flytrap

Find the “Transitions” tab where we can add effects to the Slides.
Every slide can have a transition and you may also use the same transition for every
slide, to do so, simply click on “Apply to all” after you have selected the transition for
this slide.

Now we will learn how to view our slides in a slideshow mode.

Look for this icon at the bottom right of the PowerPoint, next to the zoom.
