About DANUBEPARKS
DANUBEPARKS is the Network of Protected Areas along
the Danube River, working together since 2009. It currently
consists of 20 Protected Areas from 9 Danube countries.
„The mission of the DANUBEPARKS Association is to preserve, develop and restore the Danube River,
its main tributaries, and surrounding wetlands. As a cohesive ecosystem, it should be an inspiring
lifeline for all the inhabitants of this European macroregion.”

DANUBE4all - Danube river basin lighthouse –
restoration of fresh and transitional water ecosystems
DANUBE4all will develop a fundamental and fully public Restoration Action Plan for the
Danube basin lighthouse of the Mission “Restore our ocean and waters by 2030”.

This 5-year, Horizon Europe

funded project consists of a
consortium of 48 Partners
and Associated Partners from
14 European countries. 

• research and analyses conducted in 3, carefully selected Demonstration Sites Total project budget:
• measures will be upscaled and transferred to 10 specified Synergy Sites € 8,42 Mio.
• development of Replication Roadmaps for 5 Associated Regions  DANUBEPARKS:
(call opened until end of May 2023 - up to €100,000) € 578,125.00
