Clause
- is a group of words
with a subject and a
verb.
1. Independent or main clause

Three components:
a. They have a subject
b. They have an action or predicate
c. They expresses a complete thought
Examples

2. Dependent Clause
Contains a subject and a verb but cannot stand alone
as a sentence.
Begins with a subordinating conjunction
AAAWWUBBIS stands for although, after, as, when,
while, until, because, before, if, and since
