The Importance of purification of Heart

Allah said: "He has succeeded who purifies the

soul, and he has failed who corrupts the soul."
(Qur'an, 91:9-10)

And Allah said: "A day when there will be no

benefit in wealth or children, but only in he who
comes to Allah with a pure heart." (Qur'an,
26:88-89)
Messenger of Allah (‫ )ﷺ‬said, "Allah
does not look at your figures, nor at
your attire but He looks at your hearts
and accomplishments".

Messenger of Allah (‫ )ﷺ‬said

“Truly in the body there is a morsel of
flesh, which, if it be sound, all the body
sound, and which, if it is diseased, all of
[the body] is diseased. Truly, it is the
heart.” Bukhari & Muslim
Abu Huraira reported: "The Messenger of Allah
(peace be upon him) said: 'Verily, when the
believer commits a sin, a black spot appears
upon his heart. If he repents and abandons the
sin and seeks forgiveness, his heart will be
polished, but if he increases in sin, the
blackness increases.

'Nay, but on their hearts is a covering because

of what they have earned,
Types of Hearts in Quran

In general, hearts can be classified under three types:

• Hearts that maintain their purpose and dignity of creation.

• Diseased and unmindful hearts.
• Sealed and dead hearts
What causes Heart to be Hard?
Abu Huraira reported: "The Messenger of Allah (peace
be upon him) said: 'Verily, when the believer commits a
sin, a black spot appears upon his heart. If he repents and
abandons the sin and seeks forgiveness, his heart will be
polished, but if he increases in sin, the blackness
increases.

Allah said: 'Nay, but on their hearts is a covering because

of what they have earned,
Cure For Diseases Of The Heart
The Quran is a cure for the Hearts

[This is] a blessed Book which We have revealed to you, [O

Muhammad], that they might reflect upon its verses and that
those of understanding would be reminded.

[Allah] said, "Descend from Paradise - all, [your descendants]

being enemies to one another. And if there should come to you
guidance from Me - then whoever follows My guidance will
neither go astray [in the world] nor suffer [in the Hereafter]
Messenger of Allah (‫ )ﷺ‬said, "Allah
does not look at your figures, nor at
your attire but He looks at your hearts
and accomplishments".
