CHAPTER 1: NATURAL
ORDERS
Chapter 1 is all about the
patterns that is found in the
nature.
PATTERNS:
2 types:
Discover after
breeding rabbits.
Branching trees, river, and
flower petals follows
fibonacci sequence.
GOLDEN
RATION
ARC
SPIRAL
Can be form using Fibonacci
sequence but follows Golden
Ratio.
CHAPTER 2
WHAT
MATHEMATICS
IS FOR?
MY UNDERSTANDING
In this chapter, the whole concept is just the author telling us that
mathematics are everywhere just like science, literature and such. it
might not be obvious but in the simplest things we see, mathematics
appears. as we all know, we are all living in the world where our
knowledge about mathematics is shallow, all we know is that when we
compute things, we are doing mathematics already, little did we know,
mathematics can be found everywhere, in animals, in plants or even in
a simple thing you see in your room. the second chapter opened my
eyes that we can't define mathematics hard as it may seem,
discouraging it because it's too hard for us. mathematics, just like
history and language has it's own importance if we will just dig unto it.
In Chapter 2

Calculus bring a two main
thing of What Mathematics is
for.
Mathematics is about
how we solve problems in
terms of math.
Mathematics is about
numbers that we can
relate into our lives.
So we have to understand
how Math works.
In my understanding, the topic
Integers
focused on what mathematics
is all about. How numbers
become the most important
part of mathematics. It is all
about mathematical operation
and the five system. It was also
tackled how math can be a "user-
friendly" in a way ofComplex
making our
Numbers
lives to be more easier as possibly
it could be. It shows that even
in simpliest instructions we can
