What is Invitation Letter?

Invitation letter is a type of letter written to an


organization or an individual for their participation or
presence in an event or an occasion. The occasion can
be official or personal.
Types of Invitation Letter :
Business/ Official Invitation Letters

This type of invitations is written in a formal tone. It may be written by an


organisation or a person. It may be about a meeting, conference, seminar,
interview, training, etc.

Personal Invitation Letters

This type of invitation are sent to friends, family members, relatives,


neighbours, etc. For occasions such as weddings, birthday parties,
anniversaries, baby showers. It can be either formal or informal, or a
mixture of both.
